I went to the McQ for Target pop-up sale earlier today, and I'm now sitting in my room, wearing my amazing new grey denim jacket, listening to my complimentary Duke Spirit CD (as you probably know, singer Leila Moss served as inspiration for McQueen and the group's song Baby Doll was featured in Target's ad campaign for the line). Life doesn't get much better than this.

Beauty and Brains

P.S. How quickly do you think these pieces from J.Crew are going to sell out? My guess is very.

Fashion Superheroes
Go check out Net-A-Porter.com for their feature on the designers they've dubbed NYC's new fashion superheroes: Jason Wu, Alexander Wang, and Thakoon Panichgul. All three are young and unbelievably talented - they really are a force to be reckoned with and I can't wait to see what they've got in store for us during fashion week.

McQ for Target
I love Alexander McQueen and I love Target. I love both even more for the upcoming McQ for Target collection, which will finally make it possible for me to afford something - anything - created by one of my favorite designers. The ads are out and the previews of the collection are all over the web. And I could not be more excited!
